PTA has over 50 years experience with plastic injection molding and structural foam molding. Through our vast range of programs, PTA's dedicated molding staff has worked with almost every plastic resin. Applications using engineering resins such as polycarbonate, nylon, ABS, PC/ABS blends, polyester, acetal, and reinforced grades are our specialty.

PTA's 20 molding presses range from 45 to 1375 ton capacity. Many are equipped with robots and can be operated around the clock. Each injection mold run has its own unique job-book record containing history, mold set-up and processing details. This is just one way that PTA ensures the consistent production of plastic parts that meet the most stringent quality requirements.

Our unique 1-piece flow production cells eliminate costly and inefficient transferring to a warehouse. Parts can be molded, and have post-molding operations and final inspection before they even leave the floor. Should any problems develop, they can be identified immediately and corrected. Thinking through process and production is PTA's way of saving time and money for its customers.

Quality
All PTA molds are maintained and inspected to assure production readiness and prevent down time. All materials are certified and lot tracked. PTA is certified by ISO and UL for its quality systems. Because of our dedication to uphold the highest professional standards, PTA can claim with confidence that we will produce your plastic parts fast, right and on time.

Overmolding
Overmolding has enjoyed tremendous popularity because of the functional flexibility it affords designers and engineers. PTA has become a leader in its applications. Overmolding bonds an elastomeric "skin" to a previously injection molded structural part or substrate providing better grip and durability. Additionally, overmolded products benefit from excellent noise and vibration dampening.

PTA stands out as a producer of overmolded and structural parts in eye-catching color and surface combinations. Finished products are seamless and inseparable with dynamic visual appeal. And, they have the advantage of being produced in a cost and time-efficient manner.
