PTA has a long and successful history in the plastics industry. A private company, PTA started in 1953 to bridge the gap between product design and production. Manufacturers turned to PTA to get plastic molded products to market quickly. Today, PTA is a recognized leader in plastic injection moldmaking and molding.

Our company’s two facilities – in Oxford, Connecticut and Longmont, Colorado – utilize state-of-the-art technology and staff with extensive plastics experience. Many of our engineers, designers, tool makers and machine operators have cross disciplinary experience that allows for more effective design and production. And our ability to run production around the clock means we get finished product to our customers fast and on time.

Our paperless system means that all documentation for design, planning, quotes and production is done electronically for the most complete and efficient project records. Electronic files also enable team members at PTA and the client to readily share information, and increase the level of understanding across all departments. Owing to the nature of the businesses we work with, all PTA systems have built in confidentiality features.

With our in-house engineers and IT support, PTA can readily respond to unique situations with an experienced staff. This minimizes production time so that delays in getting products to market are avoided.
