The Formac Gallery flat panel display screens are the type of project beyond the scope of most plastic injection molders due to the complexity and design requirements. But PTA readily met the challenge. Through
the intense teamwork of Formac, Design Edge and PTA, the series was
successfully launched and went onto win numerous awards and accolades.
Formac Electronics, Inc specializes in innovative computer products that are
recognized for quality, value and cutting edge design. The Gallery Flat
Panel features an ultra-slim desktop footprint and a flexible hinge design
for adjusting the viewing angle. The Gallery series are the first LCDs that
conform to the PANTONE® color matching display standards.
- Formac was particularly concerned with cosmetic
appearance. Design Edge and PTA worked closely to
ensure the highest quality aesthetics with minimal knit
lines and limited ejection locations. ( View

to fill, produce and remove the parts from the molds. PTA
project managers had extensive technical conversations
