When Radiant was looking for a plastics molder with which they could grow, they selected PTA for its extensive capabilities. The result was the production of a market leading point-of-sale terminal. The Silver POS terminal combines a retail-hardened design with the latest high performance open technology and bright 15-inch touch screens.

• PTA began with a thorough review of all part files for moldability, quality, and cost improvements thus avoiding problems later in the process.
• Mold filling analysis was performed on high visibility parts to confirm fill and pack for the Cycoloy C6600 resin. Numerous recommendations were made and incorporated into the part designs prior to mold design and build to ensure quality. (view 2)
• PTA produced over 10 molds, dividing the project between its facilities in Colorado and Connecticut to expedite tooling.
• The plastic parts were produced blemish-free and were ready for assembly straight from the mold, saving Radiant both time and money on finishing. (view 3)
